The second annual Festival of Alabama Fiber Arts will once again celebrate our state’s rich textile tradition. The Festival will be a two day event with workshops, demonstrations, and a fiber market, all in conjunction with a month long juried exhibition. At the Festival itself enthusiasts will have a chance to work with noted fiber artists in a hands-on atmosphere. The Fiber Market will feature vendors of a plethora of fiber related items from the animal fiber itself to finished fiber artwork. Warped, Twisted and Tangled—Revisited, a juried competition on display the month of March, gives Alabama fiber artists a chance to compete and to exhibit their work. The Festival of Alabama Fiber Arts will prove to be a fun learning experience for all fiber enthusiasts experienced and novice.
The Festival of Alabama Fiber Arts and Warped, Twisted and Tangled-Revisited exhibition made possible through a grant from the Alabama State Council on the Arts.
